      Cantabile Singers has just come to the end of another very successful year. This is

      our twelfth year and we are now preparing for a new and even better year ahead, with a

      completely new repertoire, strong voices and an abundance of enthusiasm you wouldn't believe.

      If you love music with a passion, why not get in touch, it could  change your life.

               Cantabile Moving Forward into 2011

            CANTABILE female voice choir are pleased to be moving forward into 2011 with a new programme of events and concerts.With a new selection of songs, new committee, new uniform and new goals, the ladies of Cantabile are looking forward to the coming season.

             Their first concert is for the No Smoking club at Los Arcos on April 14^th. This is a private event, so they will be pleased to welcome the general public to their main Spring concert in Torrevieja’s Palacio de la Música on Saturday May 21^st when they will be joined by a Ukrainian Singing Group in full National Dress. This concert will be in aid of Matilde Sánchez’s Alzheimer’s Appeal. Entrance is free,  however invitations are available at the Palacio Ticket Office 2 hours before the show.

              Recent concerts have allowed Cantabile to make donations to The Butterfly Children Appeal and The Easy Horse Care Centre at Rojales.

               Cantabile’s members come from many places, and though the majority are English, they sing in many languages. Their repertoire varies from religious and classical to traditional, folk, popular songs and music from the shows. 

               We are a friendly and sociable group of ladies who take their music seriously but also enjoy outings, lunches and visiting  local places of interest. We rehearse at Residencia Villa Augusto at Playa de Campomar on the N332 just outside Guardamar on Fridays from 4.00-6.00, under the direction of Jennifer Morton. 

  We are at present actively seeking new members to swell the ranks: altos, mezzo-sopranos and sopranos. If you enjoy singing, can sing reasonably well and would be interested in joining an established ladies’ choir please contact president Phyl: 966785332 or
